PAiNTiNG WiTH a PURPOSE
was born through the inspiration of Lucile Godfrey who believed her children were destined to be entrepreneurs, using their gifts and talents. In January 2022, Ronnie Godfrey, Katrina Godfrey-Williams and Brenda Godfrey came together to bring this vision to reality.
Katrina D. Godfrey-Williams – Is Founder/Owner of
PAiNTiNG WiTH a PURPOSE. She is a graduate of Spelman College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. She is a graduate of Beulah with MA in Biblical Studies. Ms. Godfrey-Williams is a licensed florist and previous owner of Expressions and Floral Gift Shop. She is currently the Executive Director of Women of Purpose Outreach International inc., Senior Pastor of Purpose Center Christian Center and Founder of Becoming A Better You Wellness Support Group. During her years as being a florist, Ms. Godfrey-Williams was given many opportunities to create a room, she called “a blank canvas” and created something beautiful. Ms. Godfrey-Williams brings creativity, energy and Marketing experience to Painting With A Purpose.
Ronnie Godfrey
– Is one of the Founding Partners and Artist with
PAiNTiNG WiTH a PURPOSE. For over 30 years of successfully creating and marketing his original artwork, Mr. Godfrey is the essence of entrepreneurship. He is a graduate of Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art. He was the founder and owner of Godfrey Graphics, an apparel printing and graphics design firm. He gained valuable experience while employed as Manager and liaison with Hallmark Marketing (a division of Hallmark Cards) and taking on a few other jobs. His passion for art and experiences changed the trajectory of his career to launch his business in 2001. Mr. Godfrey brings passion, creativity, talent and experience to Painting With A Purpose.
Brenda L. Godfrey
– Is one of the Foundering Partners and, Illustrators of
PAiNTiNG WiTH a PURPOSE. She is a graduate of Spelman College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics. Ms. Godfrey has a financial background working for DeKalb County Government for over 20 years. She is a former founder and owner of a successful Daycare Center for children. She also pursued a business in fashion design and tailoring. However, her passion has always been art which started as a child. Always sketching and completing art projects for her school and at home. When asked, What do you want to be when you grow up? Her answer would be “I want to be an Artist.” Today, Ms. Godfrey is a talented free-lance illustrator. Her passion as well as her skills have grown and developed into to something wonderful. She brings passion, creativity, skills and financial experience to Painting With A Purpose.
A Victoria Doctor
– Is an Illustrator, Artist for
PAiNTiNG WiTH a PURPOSE, LLC. She is a graduate of Spelman College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and received her master’s degree from Georgia State University. Victoria has a background in education. She is a teacher with DeKalb County Schools and Math Consultant with the Algebra Project, mentoring teachers and college students pursuing a teaching career. Victoria has embraced her creativity side. She is an upcoming talented actress. She has appeared in several independent movies and stage plays. Her passion for creating is reflected in her beautiful art pieces. Her work expresses social and inspirational experiences by the use of brilliant colors and bold designs. Victoria brings fresh ideas, talent and skill to Painting with a Purpose, LLC.
Nicole Godfrey
– Is the Social Media Director
Nicole Godfrey is the Social Media Director for PAiNTiNG WiTH a PURPOSE, LLC. She is a graduate of Spelman College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master of Science degree in Marketing from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
Nicole brings over eight years of experience as a senior marketing professional, having led initiatives across higher education institutions including Clemson University, Georgia Tech, and the University of South Carolina. Most recently, she served as Senior Division Director of Marketing for American Dining Creations, where she drove strategy, digital engagement, and brand storytelling for colleges and universities nationwide.
Her career has been defined by her ability to create meaningful connections through multi-channel marketing, social media growth, and experiential campaigns that resonate with diverse communities. At Painting with a Purpose, Nicole merges her professional expertise with her creative passion, curating fresh, dynamic, and impactful content that amplifies the organization’s mission of blending art, community, and purpose.
